Featuring a solid Mahogany body with Set-in Mahogany neck the Showdown ML provides a warm and balanced tone with plenty of resonance and sustain due to the high contact nature of the set-in neck. Also delivering plenty of bite and depth the ML shape Mahogany body is finished in a classic black lacquer finish which compliments the detailed tone.

DMT Design Pickups

Loaded with two DMT Designed humbucking pickups including the iconic USA DimeTime humbucker in the bridge position, the Dime Showdown ML delivers a raw and punchy tone with plenty of bottom end and screaming highs. Perfect for a range of hard rock and metal styles the DMT Design humbuckers particularly excel when used for chugging rhythms and fierce lead licks.

Floyd Rose Special Tremolo

For many years Floyd Rose has been the leading manufacturer and designer of floating, locking tremolos. With a design that has stood strong for over 30 years the Floyd Rose locking tremolo allows you to adjust the string tension and pitch with the removable whammy bar to create unique sounds such as dive bombs. Unlike non-locking tremolo's the Floyd Rose bridge can make huge changes in pitch but still retain the initial tuning by the addition of a locking nut at the end of the headstock.

About Dimebag Darrell

Born in 1966, Dimebag Darrell (Darrell Lance Abbott) is best known for his song writing and performing in the iconic metal band Pantera. With an extremely unique playing style and signature tone Dimebag fast became a rising star in the metal world and gained an endorsement with Dean Guitars in the 1980s. Having co-designed the now legendary Dean Razorback just months before his death in 2004 Dimebag Darrell has forever earned his place in metal history with his unique playing style and range of impressive guitar finishes.
