Seymour Duncan Nazgul pickups are designed for powerful riffing and screaming lead sounds. They combine a large ceramic magnet with custom winding specs to give the ideal blend of note articulation and saturation. They have a very wide harmonic content with a very tight bass response. This makes them ideal for all styles of high-gain music and low-range riffing. The pickups are wired to a push-pull tone control for an even greater range of sounds.
The multi-scale ESP LTD M-1008 has fanned frets and varying string lengths that provide optimum string tension across the extended range that this guitar provides. This difference in length provides the correct individual tension required by each string for maximum sustain, thick tone, and ideal string resistance.
The LTD M-1008 is constructed from warm-sounding mahogany which provides a thick mid-range response and powerful resonance. The body has a flamed maple drop top which enhances the brighter overtones as well as providing increased playing comfort. The maple neck is reinforced with purple heart for increased strength and stability, along with enhanced resonance. The neck is topped with a smooth ebony fingerboard which delivers the low-end articulation required in low-range riffing.
The ESP LTD M-1008 is designed for effortless playability with its double cutaway body, low profile neck joint, and fast neck specification. The neck has extra jumbo frets which provide exceptional control over the strings. The fingerboard has a very flat 400mm radius which allows you to set up a low-action for faster playing.
The LTD M-1008 has locking tuners, a reinforced neck, and a Hipshot multi-scale bridge which all combine to give you a thoroughly stable instrument that is resistant to changes in humidity. The guitar will withstand an active performance and extended tunings, and give you a stable platform to perform with all night.
ESP Guitars are legends of the rock music world. Established in Tokyo, Japan in 1975, ESP (Electric Sound Products) initially manufactured high-quality replacement parts for guitars already on the market. These replacements became extremely popular with rock guitarists, as many users noticed that the new parts, when added to their existing guitars, afforded their instruments extra power and aggression.
Noticing their new-found popularity, ESP capitalised and decided to use their expertise to begin crafting guitars of their own. Early models were used in the music of KISS and The Rolling Stones. As years passed, ESP's guitars became increasingly popular within metal and hard rock genres. Metallica, Megadeath, Slayer, Judas Priest, and Guns N' Roses have all used the immense sound of ESPs in their music. Quality, hard rock sound favoured by the very best in the business.
