Key Features
Designed by Grace Potter of Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, only the second female in the history of Gibson's Signature guitars to get her own (the first being Joan Jett), this Flying V captures a timeless quality and features all of the physical and technical elements Grace desires in a guitar.
Product Ref: 31861
Crafted by Gibson in Nashville using Grade-A Mahogany tonewoods and a Chechen Rosewood fretboard on the 'Slim V' neck, the Grace Potter Flying V exhibits a hand-sprayed Nocturnal Brown Gloss top finish, and a satin natural back, sides and neck. The custom silkscreened border detail was inspired by an art deco cocktail napkin.
Continuing the vintage theme are TonePros tuners with pearloid keystone buttons, a cream-painted lexan pickguard and amber top hat knobs.
The BurstBucker Pro Rhythm neck and Lead bridge humbucking pickups combat microphonic feedback, so you can crank the sweet and soulful tone of the Grace Potter Flying V through your amp without a howl or squeal.
Including genuine Gibson strings and a plush-lined hard case, the Grace Potter has a stunning timless look with contemporary twists and the sonic versatility to take you through warm, rich and bluesy tones to wailing leads.
