The Ibanez X-Series was designed in consultation with numerous artists to create a true metal monster with killer tone and playability. The XG300 Glaive electric guitar has a pair of CAP-LZ humbucking pickups, designed to deliver high-power sound while minimising noise even at high gain settings. They cover a wide range, with a strong, rich middle tone for fast and heavy rhythm and lead playing.

The XG300 has a three-piece maple neck designed to be fast and playable, and a rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets. The mahogany body has a striking Metallic Gray Sunburst finish and a Full Tune III fixed bridge for maximum sustain.
