American Alder Body and Ash Back

Jeffrey Foskett’s Signature Guitar has a body crafted from American Alder to give deliver a strong, full bodied sound with an incredibly clear feel. The body provides the Italia with an excellent sustain, letting the tones ring out and decay naturally. The guitar’s high end comes across as sizzling, while the midrange sounds beefy and the low end sounding dynamic. The Ash wood back gives the guitar a sweet twang, with firm lows and pleasing highs.

Semi-Hollow, Chambered Body design

The Italia is designed with sound chambers and a sound hole, creating a semi-hollowed design, perfect for making the guitar lightweight, and boosting its resonance. The chambering effects the resonance frequencies of the guitar, producing some overtones while enhancing the overall resonance of the guitar. The sound hole will allow the vibrations and frequencies that were contained in the chambers to be set free, giving the guitar a big, full sound.

Maple Neck, Rosewood Fingerboard

The Maple neck provides bright characteristics to the guitar’s overall tone, whilst offering a snappy attack in the midrange. When the strings are played hard, the wood produces more punch to the tone, and when played with light or medium picking, then tone has excellent clarity. Adding a Rosewood fingerboard, the guitar’s tone becomes warmer, adding a little softness to its sound, creating sparkling highs and thick lows. The guitar also comes with many other features including Italia tuners and pearloid dot inlays on the fingerboard.

Wilkinson Mini Humbuckers

Jeffrey Foskett’s Signature guitar features a set of Wilkinson mini humbuckers that produce powerful tones that are perfect for playing a range of musical styles. The two humbuckers can be selected via the blend control to provide precision in achieve the best sound. The mini humbuckers bring the best combination of a single coils incredible high end with the warmth of a humbucker, while still delivering a no noise experience. Providing a balanced tone, the Wilkinson pickups are a perfect match for the 12 string guitar, allowing the brightness to shine through while keeping the mids and low end sounding full.

Unique Control Setup

With a master volume and tone, the signature guitar features a unique setup of controls to provide excellent control over the guitars tone. A blend control replaces the standard pickup selector, while individual on/off pickup switches provide the ultimate pickup control and tone variation. The blend and switches can be used to dial in the perfect sound you want, while LED indicators show which pickups are being used. A FosQ enhancement circuit provides a Jangle and boost control, offering tone shaping and boost control to deliver that classic 12-string sound.
