ESP LH-150 Pickups

Loaded with a pair of ESP LH-150 pickups in the bridge and neck position, the LTD MAX-200 delivers versatile and powerful tones. In the bridge position they have punchy, aggressive tone, while at the neck there are more jazz characteristics with excellent clarity. The controls include volume, tone and a toggle switch between the ESP pickups, which help shape your sound.

Lightweight Basswood Body

This LTD Signature Max Cavalera Guitar is crafted from basswood, which produces a fat, yet balanced tone with excellent dynamics and definition. The basswood is body is lightweight, while the double cutaway offers easy access to the higher frets, which contributes to a comfortable playing experience. The striking body shape screams 'heavy metal' with its sharp points, fierce angles and extra-dimensional bevels. This stunning guitar is finished in black with black nickel hardware and contrasting white bevels for that added boldness.

Maple Neck & Rosewood Fingerboard

The ESP LTD MAX-200's maple neck offers a comfortable and smooth feel when navigating the fingerboard, ideal for fast shredding and heavy metal riffs. The maple neck produces bright and twangy tones with great clarity. It is paired with a rosewood fingerboard, which brings warmth, sweetness and softer tones to the overall sound.

About Max Cavalera

Back in his early days as frontman and guitarist with thrash/groove metal icons Sepultura, Max Cavalera quickly secured himself a reputation for playing some of the world's most brutal riffs. Max is now recognised as the frontman of Soulfly as well as playing alongside his brother Igor Cavalera in the Cavalera Conspiracy. Max has always needed an electric guitar that could accommodate his savage playing style throughout his many groups, and so this collaboration with ESP delivers an axe with a daring appearance, and an equally as striking sound.
