High Performance Playability

The EMG LTD MH-400B is geared towards modern rock and metal performance. It is a baritone instrument with an extended 27'' scale length made for low tunings. The neck provides an effortless playing feel and is specified to enable technically challenging playing. The 24 extra jumbo frets allow enhanced control over the strings during bends, vibrato, legato, and other soloing techniques. The flat 350mm fingerboard enables a low action to be setup for an easy playing feel.

The MH-400B has a smooth pau ferro fingerboard and a thin "U" profile that sits comfortably in the left hand. The double cutaway contoured body and smooth neck-thru design gives an incredibly smooth neck join, meaning you'll have no more difficulty playing at the top of the neck than if you were playing right down at the bottom. This enables the most complex playing techniques, wherever you happen to be located on the fingerboard.

The LTD MH-400B is crafted from mahogany for a warm and resonant core tone. The body has a maple cap which adds complex upper harmonics into your sound to assist with pinch harmonics and bringing out the nuances in your playing.
