The JS1X Concert Bass Minion is a powerful piece of destructive equipment, designed with versatile poplar body and a maple speed neck to offer the perfect shredding experience. The poplar’s broad dynamic range makes it perfect for a variety of playing style, with its incredibly balanced sonic characteristics ensuring the tone is spread evenly across all frequencies. The maple speed neck delivers an incredibly smooth playing experience, and helps tighten up the bass’ overall sound with plenty of cut. The maple’s bright characteristic is accompanied by a rosewood fingerboard, helping to ‘fur up’ any harsh edges while delivering a sparking, sizzling high end, thick, firm lows, and a sweet, open midrange.

To keep up with the most demanding players, the JS1X Concert Bass is equipped with a range of high-performance Jackson appointments for the ultimate playing experience. Its massive low-end thunder and raw power comes from its P and J style Jackson pickups, with independent volumes and master tone to dial in a wide range of incredible tonal possibilities. The hardtail bridge and Jackson branded locking tuners provide the Concert Minion Bass with excellent tuning and sting stability, helping enhance sustain and resonance to create singing notes. The neck is also reinforced with graphite rods and a scarf joint to reduce warping, while the fingerboard features Jackson’s iconic ‘sharkfin’ inlays.
