The SubZero DPA1500 uses Class D switching technology to offer high power without the weight associated with conventional power amps. As the DPA1500 uses switching mode power supplies it runs cooler and doesn't require the large heat sinks and heavy transformers that make conventional power amps so heavy, making it considerably lighter. This makes this amp incredibly lightweight and portable, making it perfect for mobile set ups. With rack ears it can easily be mounted in a rack case, or installed in a studio situation.
Clear and Powerful Sound Reproduction
The SubZero DPA1500 has a bridged peak power of 1500W, offering 2 x 540W at 4 Ohms, and 2 x 340W at 8 ohms. This gives clear and punchy sound reproduction whatever the situation. In stereo mode the DPA1500 has easy to use channel volumes on the front, with LED indicators for signal, clip and protection mode, making it incredibly easy to use. The rear panel is just as simple as the front, with XLR and 1/4" Jack input connectors making the DPA1500 compatible with almost any audio source, balanced or unbalanced. With twist lock Speakon connectors for the output, you will be sure to get all of the power to the speakers with ease.
