The SP1 features a wide range of dynamic performance controls, allowing for truly expressive hands-on performance. The most prominent feature are the 16 performance pads, allowing you to trigger samples, sound FX, hot cues and more.
It's the perfect companion for any DJ controller and timecoded CDJs/turntables with a DJM-900SRT mixer. It comes jam-packed with encoders and controls which you can use to remix, edit and create switch-ups in your DJ sets. You can use these performance pads to finger drum, incorporate your own samples, without the need for a computer.
The DDJ-SP1 also features dedicated buttons for the slicer and sampler as well as the roll and hot cue functionality. This ergonomic and handy layout allows you to make quick and easy edits live. An Auto Loop encoder and push button gives you the ability to loop sections live, ideal for creating drops and switch ups in your performances.
As well as the wide range of hands-on controls, the SP1 also includes 30 premium-grade FX curated by iZotope. These Serato DJ FX provides added depth to your mixes, allowing you to incorporate everything from reverbs and delays to distortion and filters.
The sampler features its own dedicated volume fader. This allows you to incorporate intricate drum performance with simple control of the volume. In addition to the sample fader, the add-on controller features a slip mode, which keeps tracking playing muted whilst making live edits. Once you release the jog wheels, the track will go straight back to the right place.
