The Apogee Mic 96K is a studio-quality UBS condenser microphone designed for capturing professional quality recordings in the studio and on the move. The internal cardioid polar pattern ensures you capture every nuance of the original signal as it was intended, producing studio-quality recordings wherever you go. The microphone features a PureDigital USB connection port on the bottom the microphone, which ensures the best possible signal transference for optimal audio quality and performance.

The internal cardioid polar pattern ensures you can hear every nuance in the space you recording in, whether it be for recording vocals at close proximity or acoustic guitars, the pogee Mic 96k will pick up every subtlety other may miss. Inside the microphone is a preamp and a digital converter to achieve the stellar audio quality the Apogee Mic 96k produces. Inside the microphone, Apogee have included a 96 kHz, 24-bit analog-to-digital converter for optimal audio quality and performance. This helps to convert the analog signal into a digital format, whilst ensuring the signal remains as harmonically accurate as possible, resulting in the best possible audio reproduction.

Design & Construction

The Apogee Mic 96K’s unique design features a range of components and functions for added convenience. One of the most unique features is the integrated gain control knob that allows you to easily adjust the input level on the fly. The steel mesh grill ensures optimal durability and minimises any damage to the internal capsule, combating against moisture and other unwanted particles. The front of the microphone features a multicolour LED light with three colours to show the devices status. The microphones LED will flash red if it starts clipping while recording, giving you a visual indication of what the microphone is picking up. The all metal die-cast zinc body ensures maximum durability, perfect for taking with you wherever you again and minimising any superficial damage such as scratches and bumps.
