The MBox Pro offers up to 24-bit / 192kHz audio resolution, for the best possible sound quality. On the input side, there are four mic inputs with preamps, phantom power and high pass filters, four 1/4" TRS line-level inputs and two unbalanced 1/4" Alt line-level inputs. Matched to these are six balanced 1/4" TRS line-level outputs and two 1/4" stereo headphone outputs with discrete volume controls. There is also stereo S/PDIF digital I/O, MIDI in and out and Word Clock I/O. Up to eight inputs and eight outputs can be used simultaneously.

The monitor control section on the MBox Pro includes Mono, Mute, Dim, Alt Source and Speaker A/B/C switching controls. Up to three pairs of speakers can be connected for A/B monitoring, and there is a dedicated monitor volume knob. Other features include an integrated guitar tuner and onboard DSP effects.

Pro Tools, which is included with the MBox Pro, works with the interface or as a standalone on your computer. Produce complex works with up to 96 simultaneous stereo audio tracks, create rich-sounding mixes and compose music quickly and easily.
