Four Voltage Controllable Resonance Filters

The RES-4 is a modified version of the VCEQ-4 with four band pass filter configured into two outputs. The two outputs are comprised of Band Pass and Notch connections for optimal versatility, giving you the choice of two styles. It’s simple yet ergonomic layout makes it easy to make adjustments, and can be used for a variety of sound design applications. The premium-grade attenuators are designed for maximum precision. The Band Pass output is the sum of all four filters in phase, and the Notch output is the sum of filter 1 and 3 in phase, with filter 2 and filter 4 inverted. The varying frequency response ensures optimal flexibility, allowing you to easily achieve the sound you want.

Versatile Patch Points

One of the most versatile features of the RES-4 is the wide range of integrated patch points. These connections are comprised of three dedicated outputs for each of the filter. Each filter features Frequency, BW and Level connections for communicating with external modules and equipment. This allows you to control parameters from outside sources for added flexibility. As well as the Bandpass and Notch outputs, there is also an audio input. Master CV connections are also available for Frequency and Level control.

Robust Design

The ergonomic and streamlined layout features clearly annotated controls and patch points, allowing you to easily navigate the module at a glance. The controls are comprised of Peak Frequency (Hz), Bandwidth/Octave and Level (dB) controls, allowing you to achieve the sound you require with the in-depth control. It also features an integrated bypass switch for comparing the effected signal with the original.
