sE Electronics Magneto Condenser Microphone

The sE Magneto looks sleek in any studio setting, with its distinguishing chassis and mesh head. The Magneto mic also includes a swivel mic clip and thread adaptor as standard. With specifications living up to today's demanding studio environments, like a 20Hz - 20,000Hz frequency response, a high max SPL (140dB Max for 0.5 THD at 1000Hz) and high-sensitivity level, the sE Electronics Magneto studio microphone is the obvious choice for anyone who needs a high-quality mic with an entry-level price-tag.

sE Reflection Filter X

The Reflexion X is an acoustic treatment device that protects the quality of your recordings and protects against unwanted audio ambience. Their patented design for the RF-X is now used in professional studios worldwide. The RF-X's clamp means the booth can be vertically mounted on any microphone stand making it the perfect choice for vocal recording. If you are working with angled instrument miking, you might want to try the IRF2, or for more specialised vocal mic positioning, the RF-Pro.

The RF-X is a more affordable and portable version of sE's industry standard RF-Pro. The lightweight body and clamp assembly means the booth is simple and easy to use. The four layer acoustic filter comprises of a outer panel, wool fabric layer, air gap layer and an inner acoustic foam. This unique design ensures that your recordings will exhibit close to zero sound colouration.

Focusrite 2i2 Audio Interface

Having designed some of the most popular microphone preamps in the industry, Focusrite give you the transparent, low-noise and low-distortion preamp found not only in the Scarlett 2i2 but also their flagship Firewire interface, the Liquid Saffire 56. There's plenty of available headroom, which makes it suitable for moving coil, condenser and ribbon microphones regardless of the source. Phantom power is provided for mics that need it.

The front panel Neutrik combination input can be used to connect line and instrument level signals as well as microphones. This makes it perfect for recording the output of a synthesiser or stage piano, whilst at the flick of a switch you can cater for the output of an electric or acoustic guitar. The Scarlett 2i2 features unique halo signal indicators which inform you that you've got a good signal level for recording. Red means that your signal is clipping, and that you should reduce the gain. The halo will momentarily turn amber as the level returns to a healthy level, at which point it will turn green.

sE Isolation Pack - Shock Mount and Pop Filter

The new quick-release shock mount is designed specifically for the Magneto, X1 Series (sE X1, X1 Vocal Pack and X1 Studio Bundle) and sE 2200a II series (sE2200a II MP and sE2200a II C) of microphones. Along with the shock mount comes an integrated, height adjustable pop shield with a quick release mechanism for instrument mic'ing.

The Pop Shield is an essential part of any vocal recording set-up, the pop shield is made from metal as oppose to the usual fabric shield, creating a much more durable product which is built to last.
