The Renown drums feature the classic 7-ply maple shells which Gretsch are renowned for, with 30-degree bearing edges and the same '302’ hoops used on the Brooklyn and Broadkaster series drums. The Renown drums are also available in a range of stunning finish options, allowing you to find the perfect drums to match your taste. With an extremely adaptable tone and classic Gretsch design, the Renown series has been designed with the hardworking drummer in mind, providing all of the essential components to meet the demands of modern day production and performance.
Gretsch Maple Formula
The Gretsch Maple Formula shells are a unique combination of North American maple with another, softer maple species. When combined, the woods provide a stunning tonal balance with a beautiful warmth and resonance. The 7-ply construction of the Renown drums further enhances the tone, whilst offering an extremely powerful projection, letting the drums shine through any mix or recording. The high-quality maple shells are complemented by durable chrome hardware, contributing towards shell rigidity and strength without compromising looks or aesthetics.
