Pair of EMG Pickups

The Dean Icon Bari BKS is loaded with a pair of high output EMG pickups, these consist of an EMG 85 in the bridge position and an EMG 81 in the neck. The EMG 81 produces an incredibly intense sound, with plenty of high end cut, while the EMG 85 delivers a powerful tone with growl and exceptional versatility.

Mahogany Body

The Icon Baritone features an Icon body shape with a double cutaway which offers easier access to the higher frets. The mahogany body provides the sound with warmth and resonance, as well as good bite and sustain. The mahogany body delivers a rich tone with excellent depth. It also offers durability and a tone which will mature over the years, for a long lasting investment. The Icon body features a sleek, black satin finish, pearl Icon inlays and black hardware for the a rock/metal look.

Smooth, Comfortable Neck

The Dean Icon Baritone guitar has a V-shaped headstock, that provides increased string angles and string length which contributes to the overall sustain. The mahogany, C shaped neck allows smooth and comfortable play. The neck is coupled with an ebony fingerboard for incredibly bright and snappy tones which extends the sonic characteristics of the mahogany.
