The EC-1000 Evertune is powered by a pair of Seymour Duncan pickups, consisting of a Jazz at the neck and a JB at the bridge. The Jazz Neck delivers a bright and clear humbucking sound, and it has excellent versatility that works with a variety of different music styles. The Jazz at the neck is paired with the popular JB humbucker at the bridge, to create the ultimate, versatile pairing. The JB has a full and thick low end, with clean and crisp highs and a crunchy midrange; providing an overall powerful and dynamic guitar sound.
The hardware on the EC-1000 Evertune includes reliable Grover Tuners and an Evertune F Model Bridge, which work together to keep you in tune. The innovative Evertune Bridge, does exactly as its name states; it keeps you in tune forever. The bridge system offers consistent tension and an excellent tone, no matter how hard you thrash it.
Mahogany as a body tonewood creates a warm and rich tone with excellent depth. It also offers durability and a tone which will mature over the years, for a long lasting investment. The resonant tone makes it an ideal companion for punchy rock music. A quilted maple top gives it a stunning and unique 3-dimensional appearance, as well as extending the tonal range. In addition, the EC Series body shape also features a single cutaway, which allows easier access to the higher frets and more flexibility across the whole fingerboard.
The ESP EC-1000's neck is made from 3-piece mahogany, which is sturdy, durable and more resistant to warping than the classic 1-piece. The mahogany neck offers a rich and resonant sound with plenty of warmth. It also has a punchy mid-range emphasis, and the macassar ebony fingerboard brings added sustain and snappy attack which complements the mahogany's deeper tone.
ESP guitars are quite possibly the most revered manufacturer of heavy metal electric guitars and basses. ESP and its LTD brand are the first stop for many heavy metal icons, including James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett of Metallica, Jeff Hanneman of Slayer, Jef Kendrick and Mike Spreitzer of Devil Driver as well as some of Rock's most beloved characters like George Lynch and The Rolling Stones' Ron Wood.
