Loaded with a pair of Seymour Duncan Humbuckers, the Godin Montreal Guitar provides players with excellent versatility for a variety of styles. The Jazz II at the neck produces a vintage-voiced sound with bright and tight highs, and a scooped midrange. The Custom Custom at the bridge is an alnico 2 bar magnet, that delivers rich harmonics with bite and growl in the lower midrange. There are Volume and Tone controls on-board to help shape your ideal tone, no matter what your style is.
The Godin Montreal Premier Supreme features flame maple top, back and sides, for bright and tight tonal characteristics with a unique appearance. Flame maple as a body tonewood delivers excellent levels of sustain, and it holds a strong, upper midrange with good bite. The flame maple is wrapped around a 'breathe through' carved spruce core, which yields crisp highs, broad dynamic range and ringing sustain.
The Montreal Premier Supreme Guitar features a sturdy mahogany neck that yields rich and warm tones; whilst the Richlite fingerboard offers smooth and fluid playability. Richlite is a more sustainable material that was originally designed as an alternative to Ebony and Rosewood fingerboards. Constructed from recycled paper and phenolic resin, Richlite has quickly become popular with many guitar manufacturers as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional fingerboard woods, due to its fantastic playability.
The Godin Montreal Premier Guitar is equipped with a Graphtech ResoMax Wraparound Bridge System, which is constructed from an incredibly lightweight ResoMax alloy that offers heavily boosted harmonics. This ResoMax bridge works to reduce string breakage, and it's AutoLock feature locks the bridge without the need for a tool for quick restringing. The Graphtech ResoMax Wraparound also has smooth, curavaceous contours that offer enhanced comfort for palm muting.
Godin Guitars are a Canadian company founded by Robert Godin out of La Patrie in Quebec. Godin manufacture out of six factories in Canada and the US, and then ship around the world. They are known to provide guitars under a range of different brands, yet they have since carved a name for themselves with their own range of electric and acoustic guitars.
