The Warwick Rockbass range takes Warwick's expertise and experience in producing quality bass guitars and distils it into an affordable series of instruments featuring quality electronics, fast-playability, and resonant tonewoods. The Rockbass Corvette is a 5-string instrument with a fast playability designed to enable the most challenging of playing techniques. The sleekly-contoured, double-cutaway body gives effortless access to the higher frets while the flat 26'' fingerboard radius gives balance across all 5 strings.
The slim maple neck gives a smooth playing-feel while the 24 jumbo frets are extra-high and provide incredible control over the strings for all manner of techniques, from detailed chordal work to low-range riffing and solo playing. The medium scale length of this guitar creates a narrower fret-spacing - this is ideal for players with smaller hands, or for those who prefer the easier playability and "slinkier" string feel that comes from closer fret-spacing and shorter string lengths.
The Rockbass Corvette is loaded with two J/J MEC "Dynamic Correction" pickups. On their own, these pickups create a balanced frequency response that is the ideal platform for sculpting your tone via the onboard 2-band EQ. Along with individual pickup volume controls, this setup lets you create the exact sound you require, whether that is for mid-focussed punchy Motown sounds, mid-scooped slap sounds, warm and mellow jazz tones, or bright and powerful rock tones.
An alder body and maple neck give the Rockbass Corvette a bright and resonant tone with great sustain. The wenge fingerboard assists with note articulation while the strong bolt-on design ensures tuning stability during long playing sessions. With the extended range of 5 strings, this tonewood setup ensures that each string will ring with clarity and long sustain, so you'll always be heard.
Warwick Rockbass produces affordable versions of Warwick instruments. Although they are made from more affordable materials, Warwick Rockbass guitars are still high-quality and are ideal for discerning musicians on a budget.
