The Typhon Analog Synthesizer features three modulators, M1, M2, and M3. The modulators can all run in parallel with different modulation amounts. Each can be set to one of four sources. LFO, envelope, random generator and step sequencer. It's important to note that despite these multiple modulation destinations each may only have one source. You'll be able to create a whole host of interesting sounds as each has three dedicated sliders to shape the sound however you desire. However, assured knowing that these settings are maintained, regardless of which modulation source is selected.
The Typhon's step sequencer is automatically synchronised to the BPM setting. This ensures that no matter how complex your sequence may be, it will remain locked into the groove at all times. The sequencer automatically restarts every time you press a new note or select the play button. Please note that when play is already engaged, this must be stopped first before it can respond.
The analog synthesizer features a whole host of unique processing that will manipulate your sound beyond what's recognisable to create interesting textures. FX1 includes distortion and bitcrush, allowing you to achieve lo-fi timbres. FX2 adds a great sense of richness to your tone with chorus, ensemble (a polyphonic chorus) and flanging, creating the illusion of multiple textures coinciding with one another. Should you wish to add depth and width to your sound then engage FX3 to incorporate its luscious reverbs and delays. With a wide array of controls over each parameter you'll be able to adjust the sound to exactly how you want it. Without compromise.
