The Behringer B2 is a great all-rounder condenser microphone, with its switchable polar patterns and premium-grade components. At the heart of the mic is a high-quality gold-sputtered dual-diaphragm features a pressure-gradient transducer. The dual-diaphragm condenser capsule provides an extended frequency range spanning 20Hz – 20kHz. It also features three selectable pickup patterns designed for various applications. The ultra low-noise transformerless FET input helps to eliminate low-end distortion, combined with the 3-pin XLR output connector for the best possible signal integrity.
Versatile Recording Applications
The three selectable polar pattern are comprised of: cardioid, omnidirectional and figure eight. The three patterns allow you to easily cater to any recording source, for optimal versatility. It can be used for recording both vocals and instruments and works a great as a support microphone or as an overhead for drums.
