Exciting new features and enhancements. Introducing Traktor Pro 3 - the latest and greatest version of the award-winning Traktor DJ software. Version 3.1 is jam-packed with new features including parallel waveforms, single deck view, standalone mode (for Kontrol S4 Mk3) and custom mapping for the S8 and D2.

Parallel waveforms provide new ways to view your decks. Parallel Full and Parallel Slim settings can optionally replace the side by side waveforms with stacked ones for ergonomic positioning. Single deck view introduces the ability to set the number of visible decks to one. This results in your decks' waveform being stretched across the full width of the screen for increased precision.

The introduction of tag writing mode means you can not configure the types of metadata Traktor writes to audio file. A range of improvements and fixes have been made as well, for the full list of features and more; visit the Traktor Pro 3.1 website.

New large jog wheels

A noticeable difference is the new large jog wheels. These offer more responsive touch-sensitivity, giving you precise control when scratching ad nudging to ensure your beats are beatmatched perfectly.

There are two new modes. Jog mode is the classic spin-to-nudge function, as well as scratch capability. The Beatgrid adjust mode allows you to use the jog wheel to manually adjust the beatgrid in Traktor.

Essential Traktor control

The Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S2 features a layout that is designed for perfect Traktor software integration. The controls are all familiar, allowing for you to easily get to grips with each control and function. The controls and knobs are already assigned to work with Traktor Pro. However, you can also customise the mapping.

Intuitive controls

The Traktor Kontrol S2 offers a range of controls for providing seamless, creative mixing. It offers all the essential Traktor features including sturdy EQ/FX knobs, precision jog wheels, and remix decks. The Kontrol S2 enables you to mashup tracks and create loops easily on-the-fly. Use the remix decks to perform and switch through your hot cue points. The dedicated loops section allows you to create loops and easily adjust loop length whilst performing. The Kontrol S2 also features an extra remix channel alongside the 2 deck channels to allow for smooth mixing of the remix decks.

Club-ready design

The Traktor Kontrol S2 shines professionalism. Featuring precision engineering, the Kontrol S2 ensures it works at lightning speed, providing a fluid and seamless DJ experience when performing live. Offering club-ready output levels, the Kontrol S2 delivers punchy and clarity in the most demanding crowds at a party or live venue. Phase and frequency response controls

The ESI aktiv 05 also features a range of controls and connections to improve your monitor's performance as well as connecting it to other devices such as audio interfaces. One of the most unique features on the speaker is the range of frequency response controls that can help you to isolate certain frequencies or eliminate others while mixing and mastering.

The treble attenuation adjustment control allows you to match your monitor your room's own acoustic requirements, allowing you to cater to the space you are working in for a better performance from the monitor. The bass roll-off adjustment control allows you to match the monitor better to a subwoofer, allowing you to improve the performance of an entire system rather than just your monitor. Additionally, there is the standard volume level which is controlled by a rotary knob on the rear of the monitor.

Versatile connectivity

The aktiv 05 features an XLR and TS 1/4'' combo connector with a balanced and unbalanced input. These inputs and outputs allow you to connect your speakers to an audio device such as a computer or an audio interface. The connections can also be used to link multiple monitors or subwoofers together to create a full system.
