Arturia has gone to a great deal of effort to faithfully emulate this legendary instrument. All the drawbars, rocker switches, and other controls are located exactly where you would expect them to be, and they look the part, too. Upper, pedal and lower drawbars are found left to right across the centre of the interface and control the volume of particular tonal elements in the B-3 V. Bring motion to your tone with a mechanical scanner vibrato, carefully modelled and assignable to upper and lower/pedal manuals separately. Plus, there is a chorus mode, to boot.
Control the rotary speed of the speakers with realistic 'half-moon' switches to toggle from chorale to tremolo speeds. Alternatively, you can stop the spinning altogether for a unique effect. Inject a sense of warmth and grit into your tone with the original A028 tube preamp. A dynamic expression pedal preserves more low frequencies at softer volumes, just like the original.
Enjoy more sound design possibilities than ever with an extensive advanced panel. The advanced panel offers a range of new controls that remain faithful to the design philosophy of the original instrument. Send your sounds back in time and select from a number of vintages and models, plus define precisely how much leakage between tonewheels and drawbars occurs. Set decay times for the distinctive harmonic percussion, as well as whether it drops the upper manual's volume and/or steals the 1' drawbar as it did on the original instrument. Mix and balance all the elements throughout B-3 V such as the upper and lower manuals, and also the key click that was so beloved by jazz and rock players. Choose between the classic instant on/off envelope, or increase attack and release times for a sound more typical of a church organ. Finally, you can modulate drawbars as you play with movement from an LFO, multi-point envelope, or step sequencer.
A studio-grade range of effects makes it easy to define virtual acoustic spaces and unique sounds all within a single instance of the plug-in. There are four slots for creating your own custom configuration of effects modules, followed by an amplifier and room reverb. Arturia offers a chorus, flanger, compressor, phaser, delay, distortion, equaliser, reverb, stereo pan, analog delay, limiter, and tape echo. Each and every effect has a range of parameters that you would expect to find on a guitar effects pedal.
