New, unique delay design
Add creative space around any sound and generate interesting, rhythmical effects to your sound design. Perfect for any application, Arturia's Eternity Delay has been developed outside of any existing hardware delay or software delay design to present a new experimental way to add movement to your sound, instead of simply emulating a historic effect.
Simple and fun to use, Eternity has been designed to allow users of all abilities to experiment with creative delay effects. Whether you're looking for simple slapback vocal delays, expressive, rhythmic delays fit for any chart-topping dance song or even for game-audio sound design, Eternity Delay provides you with all the tools you need to realise your sonic potential.
Five global modes range from Single Mode, Dual Mode, Dual Serial, Ping-Pong and Pan, offering a variety of delay repeat sequences. Single Mode features global feedback and repeat adjustment times with BPM sync. Dual Mode lets you independently adjust times for left and right channels. Dual Serial is a more creative and powerful stereo processor with two tempo-tapped delay lines. These run in series instead of parallel, enabling you to adjust each tap independently to blend long echos and short, high-feedback reverb effects.
Ping-Pong and Pannerize are more experimental delay effects where every repetition starts at the centre and moves left and right with a varying speed which you can control. Of course, with each of the modes onboard, your repeats can be synced to the host BPM tempo of your session.
Versatile delay lines
More than you'd expect from a delay plug-in, Eternity Delay features twin delay lines, each of which can be run in parallel or in series. The optional second delay line opens up a whole new world of potential sound design to explore, with the ability to sync or unsync from the host tempo BPM, create different feedback levels and adjust the stereo image of each. Using this, you can create unique rhythmical patterns, perfect for creative sound design in electronic music where additional rhythmic complexity can help to add motion and movement to a stale drum loop or vocal loop.
Amazing modulation
More than just simple repeats, Eternity features two fully-featured LFOs and an Envelope Follower for enhanced dynamic movement in your delay lines. Each LFO can modulate multiple parameters simultaneously, synced and linked (or not, your choice!) to your host BPM. Not just standalone, LFO 2 can be linked to LFO 1 for complex modulation possibilities to use the incoming signal itself to modulate any of the parameters inside the delay. When combined with the feedback levels or onboard effects such as the Bit Crusher or Filter, you have an almost endless array of ever-evolving rhythmic changes in your sound design.
Enhanced creative effects
Delay on its own can be somewhat uninspiring but thankfully that's not the case with Eternity Delay. Featuring a Bit Crusher, Filter, EQ and Time Mode, there's more than enough to tweak and experiment with to add interesting textures in your delay repeats. The onboard Bit Crusher introduces crunching distortion to your repeats for a more vintage tape sound that's at the end of its life cycle and can be used to target each of the delay lines independently.
Perfect for delays, Eternity Delay features a filter with nine available types to scope the fidelity of the delayed sound. You can select from SEM-style, high and low-pass filters, band-pass filter and digital filters which feature a very sharp cut-off. Perfect for lead vocals, limiting the frequency range of your delays can let the main vocal breathe with a smooth delay repeat sitting underneath to add dimension and depth.
