AudioThing Speakers is a speaker and microphone emulation plugin designed to replicate the sound of iconic mics and a wide range of speaker types. Featuring 55 speaker and 32 microphone emulations, the plugin gives you the ability to shape and experiment with sound. From old telephones and radios to classic cabinets; AudioThing Speakers has a wide variety of speaker types to choose from. The microphone emulations allow you to capture the sound of classic condenser, dynamic and ribbons mics, as well as providing you with some unique choices such as phone mics.


Not only are there a wide range of emulations on offer, Speakers incorporates a freely configurable effects chain. Use compression, distortion and filtering to get the sound you want and/or incorporate background noises to replicate different recording environments. 18 distortion/degradation algorithms are also available ranging from carbon mic overdrive to GSM interference. A five-band EQ is also accessible via the spanner button at the top left of the plugin panel for advanced frequency shaping.


For the more advanced users, Speakers features a routing panel that allows you to customise the signal flow of each module within the plugin. Utilising their cutting-edge convolution engine, AudioThing has managed to create a powerful speaker/mic emulation plugin with zero-latency performance.
