Versatile Connectivity

As well as featuring a range of quality components and circuitry, the U168 XT also features a range of inputs and outputs for added versatility. The front panel features 16 inputs in total with 4 professional microphone preamps and 2 Hi-Z instrument inputs. The Hi-Z instrument inputs feature a ¼’’ connector, perfect for recording high-level instruments such as electric guitars and basses. The 16 channel MIDI I/O with one MIDI input and one MIDI output allows you to connect a range of MIDI devices from drum machines and samplers to synthesizers and keyboards. There are also coaxial digital S/PDIF input and outputs for digital connectivity. Additionally the interface features two independent headphones outputs for simple and easy monitoring for both artist and sound engineer.

Complete with Bitwig 8-Track DAW

As well as offering you a range of high-quality inputs and outputs, the ESI U168 XT comes complete with a free copy of Bitwig 8-Track Digital Audio Workstation software. This software allows you get started and recording straight out the box, providing you with 8 tracks of audio you can use to create multi-track recording projects.
