The Hidden Gem
The launch of the original Oberheim OB-1 in 1978 made it the world's first programmable monophonic synthesizer. Designed by Tom Oberheim, this groundbreaking instrument introduced preset memory to analogue synthesis, allowing musicians to store and recall their unique sounds effortlessly. While it may not be as famous as other classic synthesizers like the Minimoog, those familiar with its capabilities know the OB-1 is a true gem.
Create hugely Complex, Yet Musical, Sounds With X-Modifier
The unique X-Modifier technology offers immense sound modulation possibilities. The intuitive X-LFO and X-ADSR sections allow for quick and easy setup of modulation paths, enabling the creation of complex yet musical sounds. This technology enhances the authentic tone and character of the synth, turning it into a true sonic canvas.
