The Miktek C5MP is a matched pair of small-diaphragm pencil condenser microphones that offer a cardioid pickup pattern and super-linear, full-bodied responses. The unique MK5 capsule features a 5-micron Mylar diaphragm on which a 0.5-micron layer of evaporated gold is applied, helping to ensure an off-axis response with superior accuracy. Complete with an AMI T5 transformer and hand-selected transistors, the Miktek C5s are perfect for recording acoustic instruments such as violins, acoustic guitars, mandolins, brass, woodwind and pianos. Hand-built in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, the C5s are sure to please even the most discerning engineers, producers and artists alike.

Additionally, the C5MP is packaged with two MK5bMP matched omnidirectional capsules and two mic clips within a wooden presentation box, which is set inside an aluminium case with two shock mounts, windscreens and a stereo bar.
