The zplane deCoda is an audio analyzing tool which deconstructs any mixed audio file for detailed analysis. Take the guesswork out of learning your favourite songs, simply load in any audio file type from wav, AIFF, mp3, WMA, or FLAC to OGG files and zplane deCoda will automatically analyse the audio, displaying the tempo, key and chords instantly. The plug-in will then automatically detect the song structure and display that on the grid, showing where the changes are for easy navigation throughout a song/
The ultimate tool for beatmakers, composers or musicians to listen to the finer details of a performance by isolating each instrument independently, deCoda can help you gain a greater understanding of music, chord progressions and how to write melodies and harmonies with a song structure. Coming with innovative tools to zoom in on specific instruments, deCoda includes a Focus EQ to further isolate stems from the track. You can also mute and solo each instrument independently for easy play-along with only what you want to hear.
Additional non-destructive tools include the ability to adjust the tempo and pitch to play along in a key or tuning that's better suited for you. This can all be looped to best suit your learning preferences. Rather than using tricky terminology or confusing indicators found in complex musical software, deCoda uses the song structure, beat and tempo to navigate the project. This lets you quickly explore the different parts of a song quickly and easily with a clear indication of each section, perfect for looping and learning specific regions.
Advanced detection algorithms
Using the musical data of your song, deCoda can decipher every aspect of the audio file. From structure, beat, tempo, key, chord changes and more, this is the perfect tool for any kind of musician, composer or beat-maker looking to gain a deeper understanding of specific musical elements of your favourite tracks and songs.
Spectral view in piano roll
Using a self-contained piano roll view, similar to that you would find in a traditional DAW, deCoda can provide you with visual feedback over key aspects of your song. This can be used for musical notation for transcription or can be used to export as a MIDI file to be used in your favourite notation software or third-party software instruments.
Focus on the specific
Employing an innovative and intuitive Focus EQ, with deCoda you can highlight the instrument from a mix individually, in full stereo, to listen to the finer details with no obstruction. And when you're done figuring out the part, switch to inverted Focus mode to remove the instrument and practice with the backing track.
Non-destructive editing
Where other audio applications provide you with editing tools, zplane goes one step further and provides you with all the editing tools you could need, with no artefacts in a non-destructive quality. Change the tempo with no pitch changes, or change the pitch with no unwanted distortion or artefacts! Share you work
Easily share your projects with fellow band members, producers, friends, or students using deCoda's share feature. Export your project, including the audio, into a single file that can be easily shared. You can also export a slowed-down version of the loop you're working on to playback devices. Additionally, send any notes you've figured out to a MIDI file or directly to your preferred notation software.
