Our deluxe pack of Alice strings includes two different types of E string– stainless steel and steel core, aluminium alloy wound. This means you can choose a different tonality for the top end of your violin’s range, dependent on the string you equip your violin with. A wound string will offer a slower attack and a less sparkling tone that will not squeal and be mellow in character, whereas a steel string with no winding produces a resilient and heavy tone favourable to more experienced violinists.
High Quality Materials And Great Tone
The remaining strings all have a nylon core which means the strings are flexible and durable, offering similar qualities to traditional gut strings such as a warm tone but without the instability. The G string is also silver wound giving the bottom end of the violin’s range a soft and warm focus.
