2014 saw the first incarnation of Richies FlyRig. 2019 shows some significant changes, much like Richies playing style. Featuring his signature 'OMG' pedal and a specialized signal path featuring tap tempo delay and an all analogue, warm FET based vintage compressor.
The Sansamp section is voiced a little cleaner which paves the way for any combination of the three distinct gain stages - from a tube-like clean to a fuzzed out miasma. The warm vintage voiced tape delay section not only has a 'roto' feature but a tap tempo button switch at your feet - giving you precise control. The drift feature has two effective uses. First of all, you can add a sense of randomness to how the delay modulates and secondly, with the 'roto' section engaged, you affect the distance of the virtual mic - giving you heavy volume and tonal modulation when maxed.
