Every detail covered
The Bohemia 108 melds the old and the new seamlessly. Whilst traditional and unique in its Antique style, hand-varnished finish, and conserved wood characteristics, it gets the benefits of modern configuration. Years of development have refined the Goetz bridge with Ebony inlay. This Ebony layer stops your strings biting into the bridge so it maintains its flawless performance. Easy tuning with the Ebony pegs is made easier with a master fine tuner for the highest and most delicate E string.
The Guarneri chinrest is a natural choice for strong-toned violin. Reduced weight on the body of the instrument lets the sound ring out true.
Come to the dark side
Dark tones draw the eye in a crowd. Selected Spruce and Maple have been hand-varnished in 15 extremely fine layers, providing a depth of appearance whilst conserving the wood's characteristics. The refined appearance doesn't end there. The 108's back and sides are delicately narrow and display a well-aligned flame. Admire the neck and scroll with their even gradient of annual rings, showing the quality of this wood.
Make the most of modern
With the benefit of years of the Conrad Goetz development process, you'd be a fool not to take advantage of the sound quality modern violins can provide. Achieving a sound you'd expect from a much more expensive violin, the Bohemia 108 violin creates dazzling and strong music. Shine across any concert hall with this bold sound.
Dominate with Dominants
Dominant strings suit every player. Made for keen violinists, they are a favourite with live, studio, and casual violinists alike. This versatile nature takes them all over the globe. Wherever they are, their clear sound sings out despite humidity, making themselves a name as a durable choice. It's no surprise they're so strong with a flexible, multi-strand nylon core. With Dominants at your fingertips, you won't lose your nerve when playing even the highest note, as it can be reached with the E string's steel core.
