The finer details
Each element of the Contemporary 112 is ready for modern interpretation. The custom Goetz flat chinrest is a star feature of this instrument, letting you experiment with how you want to play. Reap the rewards of a violin benefitting from modern development. Your highest and most delicate string is stabilised and your original Goetz bridge is protected by the innovative Ebony-supported E-string. Tune this E-string with ease with a precision silver fine-tuner.
The modern elements work seamlessly with tradition. Classic components like the full Ebony fittings mean you have a tried and tested quality material. Ebony on the fingerboard is a hard surface, perfect to play on. Only specially selected Maple and Spruce make up the body and this quality wood is specification-crafted to less than a millimetre for the ribs, neck, and scroll. A lightweight, delicate violin is ideal for onstage performance.
Design for the 21st Century
Let your playing take centre stage. In performance, highlight your style with the chic and minimalist design of your violin. Black and silver touches offer striking contrasts. The beautiful back of narrow, aligned flames is a gorgeous effect, showing off the Maple's authentic wood characteristics.
Conrad Goetz do justice to this stunning wood. Goetz take great pride in their varnish, and the Contemporary has a professional look in its closed varnish with a matt finish.
Dominate with Dominants
Dominant strings suit every player. Made for keen violinists, they are a favourite with live, studio, and casual violinists alike. This versatile nature takes them all over the globe. Wherever they are, their clear sound sings out despite humidity, making themselves a name as a durable choice. It's no surprise they're so strong with a flexible, multi-strand nylon core. With Dominants at your fingertips, you won't lose your nerve when playing even the highest note, as it can be reached with the E string's steel core.
